The first batch of our new vans have just arrived from their manufacturer.
And what better backdrop for their first photograph than the former Templeton Carpet Factory, overlooking Glasgow Green…just 200 yards from our own yard.
Designed by Scottish architect William Leiper in the late 19th century, its remarkable façade was inspired by the Doge’s Palace in Venice.
Behind those colourful walls, generations of Glasgow workers manufactured high-quality carpets that earned an international reputation, supplying prestigious buildings and homes around the world.
Today, the building has found a new purpose, but remains a striking reminder of Glasgow’s proud manufacturing heritage.
More than a century later, and just a short distance away, Fourply continues to invest in its people, equipment and the skilled workmanship that underpins our business.
Different generations. Different trades. The same appreciation for craftsmanship.
