This week marks a key milestone for our 4th Year Carpentry Apprentices as they return to college to prepare for their Skills Test – the final challenge on their journey to becoming fully qualified tradespeople.
It’s the culmination of 4 years of learning, dedication and hands-on experience.
The pressure is on, but so too is their readiness.
Just like our solitary bees, who spend months developing inside their cocoons before emerging at just the right time, our Apprentices have been preparing quietly, building strength, confidence, and precision.
When a bee leaves its cocoon, it must immediately navigate the world — building, collecting, and contributing to the future.
Our Apprentices face a similar path, stepping out into industry to help shape the built environment with the skills they’ve crafted.
