In this week’s episode of The Apprentice and the Bee, we caught a quiet but powerful moment: a Red Mason bee, loaded with pollen, misjudging her landing into one of our bee hotels – slipping, stumbling… but then rising and trying again.
It’s a small reminder of a big truth: progress isn’t always a straight line.
This month, our Apprentices begin a new season at construction college, embarking on the Advanced Craft course in Carpentry & Joinery – a step up in challenge, focus, and expectation.
There will be tough moments, missed marks and times when things don’t quite go to plan.
But, like our Mason bee, perseverance is everything.
The structures we build — whether they’re timber frames or bee hotels – are only as strong as the effort behind them and with patience, skill, and resilience, both Apprentices and Bees will find their way.
